PrintCafe, the first company in the world to offer total Internet-based commerce and supply chain solutions for the printing and publishing industries, has signed an exclusive contract with Punch Networks, the leader in Web-based file storage and collaboration services, the company announced today.
Under its co-licensing agreement, printCafe will exclusively offer a co-branded version of Punch's Web-based file collaboration service -- Punch WebGroups -- to its clients, while Punch Networks will only offer printing services through printCafe. printCafe has developed a Web-based infrastructure and applications that seamlessly integrate supply chain data management with the production of printed material.
"Punch Networks' services are a perfect complement to printCafe," said Bill Guttman, CEO, printCafe. "Just as we solve the inefficiencies in the printing process, Punch brings a level of ease and convenience to collaboration and file storage. With this agreement, we've added another level of service that strengthens printCafe's position as the complete resource for the printing/publishing industries."
"It's a natural fit to combine file storage and collaboration services with printCafe's innovative offering," said the president and CEO of Punch Networks. "File collaboration is a necessary pre-cursor to commercial print production, and the two services together create a one-stop shop for creative and marketing professionals. This partnership will undoubtedly help us continue to expand our user base in this vertical market."
