System Tray Icon: Identifying the Sync Engine in your System Tray
Whenever the ElectraDrive Sync Engine is running an icon will be visible in the windows system tray (located in the bottom right corner of the screen).
Sync Engine Tray Icon: "Idle" State (watching for local activity)
To synchronize immediately with the Server, simple double-click this icon.
Once Synchronization is underway, the Icon should change to an active state
Sync Engine Tray Icon: "Synchronizing with Server" State
When Synchronization is complete, the Icon will return to it's "Idle" state.
IMPORTANT!
By default, when your Sync Engine is installed it will automatically synchronize with the server every 10 minutes, so you should never have to tell the Sync Engine to synchronize manually. If you do not want the Sync Engine to behave this way, you can adjust the Sync Engine's settings. |
