Other people can join your WebGroup by invitation only. Provided you have appropriate authority, it is very easy to invite others to your WebGroup. All you need to know is their e-mail address. To invite someone to join your WebGroups, goto the Members Panel and select the "Add New Member" link.

Note: To invite someone to join your WebGroup, you must have Manage authority. If you do not have Manage authority, you will have to contact the owner or a manager of your WebGroup to request that they escalate your authority to "Manage". To determine your authority in a WebGroup, or for any particular folder or file, simply select that item from the WebGroups "tree" on the left and review the various information in the "Details" section which appears to the right.

When you invite someone to your WebGroup, an e-mail is automatically generated and sent to them about the new WebGroup to which they have been invited. New WebGroups users receive information about their new free account. This e-mail also contains login information and instructions on how to access the WebGroup that you have shared with them.
