Punch WebGroups Retail Service Fees

  • How much does it cost?
    The standard retail price for the Punch WebGroups service is $ 149.00 US per year.

  • Is it free?
    Yes, and No.

    It is always free to be a participant in a WebGroup that was created by someone else.

    However, if you want to create a WebGroup yourself to share files with other people, you will enter your trial period (30 days) to see if you like the service. After 30 days, your trial account will lapse and you will then have 30 days "grace period" to pay for your account. After the grace period expires, although your account will still exist and you will still be able to receive files from other people's WebGroups, all WebGroups created by you (and all the files within them) will be deleted from our servers.

  • What is included?
    When you first create your account (before your have paid for the service) you are allocated 10 Megabytes of storage space on our servers. Once you pay for the service you are allocated 100 Megabytes of storage space on our servers.

  • Additional Storage Capacity
    Should you need more storage space for your account you can purchase:
    • 100 Megabyte "storage packs" for an additional US $ 99* per year.
    • 1 GB (1,024 Megabytes) for an additional US $ 749* per year

  • Educational Discounts
    Punch Networks offers an amazing 83% discount ($ 25.00 US per year) on individual retail WebGroups accounts to students, staff, and faculty of primary schools, secondary schools, and University institutions. The following guidelines explain our educational pricing policy:
    1. Education discounts are available to bona fide government and private educational institutions and their staff and students only.
    2. You are eligible for educational pricing and educational packages if you are a full time faculty member or a full time student at an accredited school. You must also order using a valid school Purchase Order or Faculty/Student ID.
    3. To attract an educational discount, or to purchase educational packages, a signed copy of the ordering institution's purchase order or current staff or student identification must be supplied.
